The GMS FABRIC EXPRO 2017, which exhibits locally-handmade textiles from the countries in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS), is now being shown at Sri Muang Park in front of Udon Thani City Hall.
Udon Thani Rajabhat University has played a key role in the exhibition especially at the opening ceremony on Feb 14 when it, together with private and government sectors from 20 districts, joined the parade starting from the university compound to the park. More than 120 students from Performing Arts, Faculty of the Humanity and Social Sciences, and Thai Traditional Dance, Faculty of Education, performed at the ceremony. Additionally, the students from the clubs of To Be Number One and To Be Number One Idol are scheduled to participate and show their activities every night until the final day of the GMS FABRIC EXPRO 2017.
The annual and 12-day festival, presided over by Udon Thani governor Chayawut Chanthorn, will last until Feb 25.
